Mr. D. Vizai Bhaskar is a prominent Telugu playwright whose plays are already translated and being performed in other languages like Kannada, Malayalam, Hindi, Manipuri, Bengali, English, Tamil etc. He has written more than 25 plays with different subjects depicting the social, political and cultural contemporariness.
He is honoured by Govt. of India with esteemed 'Sangeeta Nataka National Academy Award' in 2011 for his valuable contribution in the field of literature.
He is bestowed with 'Sahitya Puraskar' from his drama 'Ruthwik' by Potti Sreeramulu Telugu University. He is the winner of 'Nandi Award' 8 times for his scripts by Government of Andhra Pradesh being performed in other languages like Kannada. His scripts are popularly acclaimed as the best in almost all the Parishad competitions.
Vizai Bhaskar's transalations are more popular in manipuri and he is present in every house of Imphal.
